How to set up an in-page push campaign

In-page push looks like a notification but renders inside the web page, so it reaches every visitor including iOS users and requires no subscription. It is priced per click.

Set up an in-page push campaign

  1. On the Basic step choose the In-page push option and CPC.
  2. Set the daily budget and default CPC; floors for Mac and iOS traffic are higher than for Android, so set a per-country bid if you mix them.
  3. Pick GEOs, device and OS. Because the format needs no subscription, iOS and macOS are available, unlike classic push.
  4. Set a frequency cap on the Advanced step; the unit is shown on every page view it qualifies for, so a cap keeps the same visitor from seeing it on every page.
  5. Add ads with an icon 192×192, a title up to 30 characters and a description up to 45.

Settings that matter for this format

  • Treat the icon as the creative: it is the only image the visitor sees.
  • Test in-page push alongside classic push with the same landing page; the audiences differ, and so do the prices per GEO.
  • Visitors can close the unit, so the first words of the title carry the message.

After saving

The campaign enters Pending approval and is moderated against the advertising policies, normally within one business day. Track results under Statistics grouped by source ID, and send conversions back with a postback so the Conversions column fills.
