Traffic quality rules for publishers

Advertisers pay for impressions and clicks from real visitors. Traffic that fails the platform's checks is filtered before it is billed to the advertiser and before it is credited to the publisher, and the rules below are part of the publisher policies you accept when adding a site.

What is filtered

  • Bots and click farms.
  • Incentivised or forced clicks, and auto-refresh.
  • Iframes that hide the ad, and placements that cover site content or trap the visitor.
  • Traffic bought to be resold.

Integration rules

  • Tags may be placed only on the sites approved in your account; add each domain separately.
  • At most four ad codes per page.
  • Placements must not cover site content, trap the visitor or trigger on every interaction.
  • Do not alter the tag code, and do not fire tags on pages a visitor did not request.
  • No ads on pages with content the publisher policies exclude.

How it is monitored

Sites are reviewed at approval and can be re-reviewed at any time while they run. The Statistics page in the publisher dashboard shows approved impressions and clicks after filtering, and those figures are the basis for payment.

If you disagree with a filter

Write to [email protected] with the zone ID and dates, and the team reviews the case.
