Set up a popunder campaign
- On the Basic step choose the Popunder ad type and CPM as the payment type. SmartCPM (the platform charges just above the next-highest bid) and SmartCPA (bids adjusted toward a target cost per conversion from your postbacks) are enabled from the same step.
- Set the daily budget and a default CPM at or above the minimum for your GEOs; the Review step warns if the bid is under the floor.
- Pick GEOs, then device and OS. Mobile and desktop popunder inventory differ in price, so many buyers run one campaign per device type.
- Set a frequency cap on the Advanced step (one popunder per visitor per 24 hours is the common starting point).
- Add an ad with the landing-page URL as the destination. Append
?cid={tracking}and any other macros your tracker needs.
Settings that matter for this format
- The landing page must load fast and open cleanly without a click: a popunder visitor did not ask for the page, so the first screen has to make the offer clear.
- Source ID is the main optimization lever: whitelist sources that convert and exclude the rest from the Filters step.
- A low bid still spends in tier-3 GEOs but may deliver nothing in the United States; check the minimum per GEO under Volumes before you save.
After saving
The campaign enters Pending approval and is moderated against the advertising policies, normally within one business day. Track results under Statistics grouped by source ID, and send conversions back with a postback so the Conversions column fills.
